cousins
I only have a handful of first cousins, always wished I had more and always marveled at my friends with so many cousins to play with, visit etc. Well, here are some cousins to envy. I was invited to photograph this gorgeous posse of kids during their annual summer week together – we laughed & played and all got creative to reign in the wandering toddler in the crew. Check out the shot where she ran from the group right up to me & hung on my legs when I was behind the camera!
canvas gallery wraps are here
Many of you have asked about canvas prints and I finally took the plunge and ordered studio samples. They are quite lovely and a much higher quality than what was previously available. Here’s an image of my favorite, a 25×30, above my desk:
But this one didn’t last long…it was only on my wall for a few days and is now hanging in the babies’ nursery! Thanks to Amy for sending this shot when she got home. Can you see the babies sleeping in the bed below? Love it!
The Wall
This week I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph a family that I’ve worked with many times over the past five years – from pregnancy #1, through baby and toddler portraits to pregnancy #2 and those baby and toddler portraits. The mama has created what she affectionately calls The Wall in her home, which is an amazing collection of family portraits, old and new. I loved seeing my work there and thought I’d share these shots with you, since clients often ask for suggestions for framing and hanging photographs.
By the way, this family does appear on my website in a couple of spots – see if you can “Where’s Waldo” it from clues below on The Wall and find two portraits of this family in my portfolio sections:
