sweet pea
I was lucky enough to share some quiet moments with this sweet baby and his gorgeous mama recently – isn’t he amazing!? He’s two months old here….becoming more alert and smiley every day. Every time I look into his eyes I just melt.
Since this portrait session I’ve been busy photographing high school seniors – fun in an entirely different way. Check back next week for sneak peeks!
wee brothers for a good cause
I’ve been photographing high school seniors lately but still just love, love those bambinos….and these two were simply scrumptious! I met this lovely family through an auction donation for Capitol Partners for Education. This is an amazing program that mentors kids in underserved communities to ensure success in high school and beyond.
I love being able to contribute to programs like CPE, Metro Teen Aids, and many other local schools and arts organizations by donating portrait sessions. The programs benefit and I get to work with many wonderful people who support their good work.
golden light of fall
I think fall must be my favorite season. I just love the light, especially at the end of the day. That morning had been stressful for me with endless technical glitches but an afternoon of laughing and playing with these guys completely made my day. The last image is of the inventive game of red light-green light that the girls made up – so silly and fun, fun!
brothers
It’s been a busy couple of weeks getting back to school and getting into that fall routine – sound familiar to you too, perhaps? So as I play catch up I thought I’d share a few faves from this summer. The last portrait session I had with these guys was in a neighborhood park but this time the location was central as it was the week before moving day and leaving behind the house in the city.
